It needs to be noted that all local councils do not provide adequate water treatment for drinking water in rural areas, thus disappointing their taxpayers.Nevertheless, certain sewage treatment plants in the north and east continue to regularly discharge raw sewage to local rivers and estuary.The TasWater takeover is critical to funding first-and third-tier sewage treatment facilities, especially in Tamar catchment area in the George Bay catchment area.
There are other sewage treatment plants that are inadequate or basic in nature.Not only must wastewater be included, but drinking water must also be included.I believe TasWater does not have the financial or professional capacity to develop and commission projects that will clean the drinking water and release it to these areas at any time.
For TasWater, the scale is too big to do more effectively, just like a government organization, without environmental control.If TasWater is a private operator, they will be shut down for failing to obey and comply with national environmental controls.The Legislative Council and the state government have put this neglected issue in a basket that is too difficult because it will not win the vote in the next election.
For our young people, Christmas is happy every year.When you like itxa0Your Christmas lunch, open gifts and spend time with loved ones, I ask you to think about it for those who have not experienced a happy Christmas this year.For many, Christmas is a time spent with family in a safe home where gifts can be exchanged to charge for the coming year.
But for more people, this is an unbearable reminder of everything they don't have.Many of my young people didn't wake up to see the gifts under the tree, didn't get a delicious lunch, and were not able to have a good time with their loved ones, but we were working on that.Young people on the street, we have been collecting food and gift cards to give our children the opportunity to receive gifts and delicious food to make a happy Christmas a reality.
Gifts to our disadvantaged young Australian people are more than just material gifts and food.When I gave these gifts to our children, I saw their faces lit up.They are happy to get something before they have nothing, but most importantly, they are happy to know that someone cares about them and wants them to experience the meaning of Christmas-to those who are not very lucky.
