Don't forget to add AA batteries when you make a list and check it twice.
This popular battery type powers many toys, game controllers, and other gadgets that will wait in these gift boxes.
But not all batteries are equal.
So we test the most popular brands every year to make sure you get the most energy.
We evaluated 13 alkaline batteries and 2 lithium batteries this year.
Our test scenario is based on typical battery usage in toys and flashlights.
Our toy test simulates an hour of continuous game every day.
The second test involves turning the flashlight on for 4 minutes per hour for 8 hours, and then placing the flashlight separately for 16 hours.
We repeated every test until the battery ran out.
The two lithium models we tested (

More than all alkaline batteries.
But the price of the base class is much cheaper, and there are several brands that are close to the stone version in terms of performance.
We 've seen quite a wide range of performance out of 13 alkaline brands, but the consumer report recommends 7. The top-

Unlike alkali, lithium batteries do not contain corrosive liquids.
The Kirkland Signature battery was designated as a consumer reporting Best Buy, 90 cents per pair.
