Renewable energy can not only change the world energy market, but also change the global economy and geopolitics.
But there is no way to provide a clean and free fuel world with wind and solar energy alone.
In essence, both are variable, so other technologies need to be used to realize their true potential.
Improving connectivity with other countries is a relatively simple solution, but in a world where governments are increasingly focused on energy security, its appeal is somewhat limited.
Managing Requirements more efficiently using smart grids and devices is another issue.
But the most revolutionary technology is energy storage.
As Jimmy Aldridge, a think tank at the UK Institute of Public Policy, said: "This is the most exciting area in the energy sector and it completely changes the way we interact with the grid.
"Storage can help communities and companies around the world in some very obvious ways.
Power outages in developing economies can cause serious damage.
In South Africa in 2008, for example, a power outage led to the closure of some of the country's largest gold and platinum mines, causing global commodity prices to rise, not to mention the enormous destruction of the lives of millions of people.
Such an unreliable grid also hinders foreign investment.

Increasing power in the event of a power outage, but it also helps the grid to operate with an average load rather than a peak load, thus reducing the chance of a power outage in the first place.
For this reason, for example, Puerto Rico has set a storage requirement of 30% for any new renewable energy capacity.
But it is not only developing countries that benefit.
S. government estimates that between 2003 and 2012, hundreds of power outages cost the United States as much as $70 (£45bn)a year.
There are already dozens of storage systems running in many states, while California is targeting one.

Britain has built its first grid.
Countries such as Italy, Hungary and Saudi Arabia may follow suit.
Storage also proves invaluable for isolated communities that cannot access the state grid, and islanders can especially enjoy continuous power without the need for additional diesel power generation.
But this is just the beginning.
Renewable energy, together with energy storage, opens up attractive possibilities for communities and individuals to become energy self-sourcessufficient.
With solar panels or wind turbines generating and storing batteries, the family's dependence on the grid is greatly reduced.
