An energy company in New Zealand has threatened to pay for the lamppost for seven days. Or else.

According to Stuff, the letter was sent by Meridian's 771800 street lamp, NPDC Control Point 394, number 9 Hille drive, and o'carra 4650. co.
NzIt said that "occupiers" have seven days to provide Meridian with their customer details or their power will be cut off.
However, the letter landed at the home of neighbouring resident Clive Selman, who initially feared that they would have a power outage and later realized that they were working in a different company.
