Russell Crowe had an altercation with an airline on Twitter because they refused to let him and his children travel with hoverboards.
Crowe and his family are on vacation and they find that lithium-ion batteries on hoverboards are not allowed to be used on airplanes because they pose risks during flight.
The actor plans to fly from Sydney, Australia to Coffs Harbour in New South Wales with his son, Tennyson and Charles, when Virgin Australia revealed that they had to be removed from the flight due to the contents of the luggage.
He was annoyed at the airline on Twitter.
The actor was angry because when he booked the flight and asked the airline to answer, he was not told to ban the suspension of skateboarding.
He then went on to counter actor and comedian Joel Clichy, who told him to learn a lesson because "you're a millionaire baby.
But the airline responded that it was his own fault to not pay attention to the "dangerous goods" part of the customer information: a Virgin spokesperson said in a statement: "in Virgin Australia, safety is our top priority.
