Since the meeting on Wednesday night was our second public meeting, there were some people who did not attend the first meeting.
"They have no control over their emotions and fears," he said . ".
Mr. O'Sullivan said to him that approval by KCC for health, safety and environmental reasons was "unintelligible ".
"On January, Longford County Council refused to plan six battery storage units on the grounds of health and safety, but Kerry County Council approved the planning of 40 battery storage units.
I just don't understand.
"The whole thing is hard to understand," he said . "
He felt Ballydesmond had been "hit enough by wind turbines ".
"If you're standing at the top of Ballynahulla, there are 52 turbines.
We have had enough.
But what is very exciting is the strong community spirit at the public meeting.
People hope and will take it all the way to Bord Pleanala.
This is really the last straw of the people of Ballydesmond, "he said.
Mr Sullivan van said: "If this is built and it does continue, then Ballydesmond will end because parents will send their children to school or nursery to work, then wait for the possible battery unit to be on fire, he said.

Redfaze Co. , Ltd. was granted the right to plan, and the directors of the company were Michael Munan, David Munan and Stephen O'Connor, respectively.
The KCC received a huge submission, up to 594 pages, of which more than 60 were formally opposed and a collective signature of 200 names.

"The potential impact of the structure and operating phrases of the proposed battery storage compound on humans is not considered significant.
During construction, temporary slight effects related to inconvenient traffic, dust and noise may occur.
The submission states: "appropriate control measures and standard best practice construction methods designed to avoid or minimize impacts will be adopted, and the Needlepine Plantation provides a natural cushion and brings the site to its surroundings
A report also outlines that the Japanese staff of the tiger is recorded outside of the intended development and will be "completely avoided ".
Its consultant also stated that "the proposed drainage development design is specifically proposed with the aim of having no negative impact on the water quality of the site and its associated rivers and lakes, as a result, there is no impact on downstream basins and ecosystems.
The submission to KCC also states that the proposed development will "help Ireland to meet its European and international obligations in providing a safe, sustainable power system . ".
However, Mr. sullivan van said that the community would take the fight all the way to Bord Pleanala.
