winnebago's high-tech 2013 via rv - battery power storage

Talk about traveling along the memory lane to the future.
Winnebago passed 25 T, 25-let me sneak a look at 2013 Winnebago last weekfoot Class-

My wife grew up in an RV in Alaska and she came in and immediately flashed back to the rabies and folded

My first impression of Via as a recognized geek is: Finally, a car home with enough power outlets, technical features and entertainment options to mimic my man --cave at home.

In a cubicle above the sink, you can connect almost any accessory to the AV and HDMI ports, including the Xbox 360, camera or Blu-rayRay player.
For live broadcast, there is a Jack digital TV antenna on the roof.
The power of this model is 100 mA and the height is fixed, so you don't have to improve it.
About 20 HD stations are as clear as ringtones.
One small annoyance is that you have to turn on the antenna twice, once using the button hidden in the cabinet, and once turn on another switch near the ceiling.
Fortunately, it's easy to change the position of the antenna.
Because there are so many power outlets scattered around the living space and the two TVs, you will find that there are three different ways to keep the juice flowing: battery power (

Unfortunately, the navigation system is not integrated with the Mercedes engine, so you won't get any automatic advice to find the fuel until you run out.
However, you can find shorter, more direct routes using the "green" mode.
And a dedicated 30-pin hook-
The second USB cable for iPod or iPhone, USB stick or Android phone.
One advantage: this Winnebago Via model is the first one to use the LED ceiling light, about 70-
A few percent lower than the traditional lamp power.
This means that you can have the AC/DC inverter on all night and even make one or two lights shine without worrying about getting greeted by a dead battery in the morning.
Driving Via is pure pleasure.
If you ever rent one
Haul, you are fully prepared for this model.
It's stable on the road, relatively compact 25-
The foot length means that you rarely need to plan the turn too far in advance, and the tradeoff is a slightly cramped interior.
One important note: While there is plenty of room for five people to sleep, don't expect them to have enough water to take a shower in the morning. The 28-
The gallon fresh water tank looks like it's enough, but unless everyone accepts Lightning
Fast military style shower tap may dry in the middle of someoneshampoo.
There are other minor problems.
One is that there is a rack next to the chair of the two former captains, and the lid will flip so you can hide the camera or map, but the lid itself is not open but is closed all the time.
When they do, they make such a loud sound that you think your tires are flat.
The other is that you can use a hose or pour water into a gravity fill, but the opening on the gravity fill is smaller than the typical gallon spout, so you may need a funnel
In the end, the otherwise clever retractable screen door is off track almost every single pull-this is clearly a design flaw.
Winnebago offers three floor plans.
The 25 t I tried had a slide.
Stayed outside for $123,942.
25R for $123,686 and a longer slide
A big bed and a sofa.
25Q has two separate slides
One is a big bed and one is a sofa for $126,074.
A note on fuel economy: it would be better to slow down like any RV.
However, using a Mercedes-Benz engine, keeping RPMs around 2,000 will have a dramatic effect.
Drive 55 and you may get 15 miles or better.
Raise the speed to 65 miles and you'll see it closer to 12 miles.
My overall impression is that Via is excellent.
I like easy driving;
The HD screen looks clear and bright;
Soft and comfortable cushion;
Almost all the facilities are on schedule.
There are also surprising benefits: The fridge is removable so you can put in more cold storage, the inverter is smart enough to disable some power outlets when you use battery power, to save energy.
You may not use it in Alaska, but after 40 years, your memory of it should be good.
